"I had an operation on my back in 2005 and shortly after began suffering crippling back spasms. Adam's classes were recommended by my Osteopath as I wanted to feel safe and confident with the instructor. Attending Adam's Pilates classes has helped me become stronger and more supple, taught me better posture and helped me to look after my back. I am a social worker by profession and attending Adam's pilates classes has also become a great way of de-stressing and re-focussing. I strongly recommend him!"

FAQs

How do I start Pilates?

Classes are booked in advance in 8-week blocks in Sydenham and in Forest Hill. Classes are booked in blocks to make the classes viable for all and to encourage your practice to be consistent. If you have a health condition or injury that may affect participation, please email me so I can ascertain if joining a group class would be the best option for you. In some cases i might recommend private sessions before joining a class.

What should I wear?

You’ll be happy to know that we don’t make you wear a leotard! You should wear something you are comfortable to move in. Ideally something fitted and not too baggy so your alignment can be checked. Class is taken in socks or bare feet.

How do I pay?

You can pay in cash, by cheque or via internet/telephone banking on arrangement with Adam Murby. If you are attending classes in Forest Hill please do not pay the teacher directly.

If I miss a class can I get a refund?

Refunds are only given for cancelled sessions. If you have to miss a class for any reason you can make it up during the term by attending one of the other classes provided there is room on the night.
