How do I start yoga?
Classes can be attended on a drop-in basis or with the purchase of a block booking card. The block booking system encourages your practice to be consistent and is better value for money, while the drop-in rate offers maximum flexibility.
- Drop-in rate is £10 per class
- 6-week block booking cards is £57 (valid for 8 weeks)
- 12-week block booking card is £105 (valid for 15 weeks)
If you have a health condition or injury that may affect participation please contact me so I can ascertain if joining a group class would be the best option for you.
What should I wear?
You may be happy to know that lycra is not compulsory! You should wear something you are comfortable to move in. Ideally something fitted and not too baggy so your alignment can be checked. Class is usually taken in bare feet.
Don’t I need to be flexible to take part?
Not at all. You don’t need to be able to stick your leg behind your head or even be able to touch your toes. Blessed with stiffness is an often quoted saying in yoga teaching circles. Those who are very flexible have to work on becoming more stable.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
Please check the class schedule. Mats and blocks are provided unless otherwise stated. Of course you are always welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.
How do I pay?
Block booking cards can be paid for in cash, by cheque or via internet / telephone banking. Please bring correct change for drop-in classes if at all possible.
If I miss a class can I get a refund?
Block booking cards cannot be used beyond the expiry date and unused classes cannot be refunded.
I’m pregnant, can I still take part?
Sorry, I am not qualified to teach pregnancy yoga at present.
We reserve the right to cancel a class or workshop in the event of exceptional circumstances that mean we are unable to offer the event or if there are insufficient numbers booked into the event for it to be commercially viable. Should this happen you will be given a refund of the fees you have paid for the cancelled class or other event.
We collect email addresses from visitors to our website(s) who contact us via email and/or telephone. We do not share, rent, sell, disclose or distribute this information to any outside or other third parties. The information we collect is used by us to improve our service and for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to hear from us, you should be able to unsubscribe your email address from any newsletters or other kind of marketing material you receive from us. Alternatively, please let us know by email or telephone and we will remove you from our list(s).
Terms & Conditions
All classes are subject to availability and all sessions and instructors are subject to change. Every effort will be made to notify you of any changes in advance of your booked session.
Please arrive on time for your session. This will enable you to speak to the teacher about any medical conditions you have, as well as ensuring a proper warm-up. Please be aware that if you arrive 10 minutes or more after the session has started you may not be allowed to participate.
Please note that Pilates and yoga sessions are not a medical treatment and any information you hear in class does not constitute as medical advice. It is your responsibility to obtain appropriate medical advice to ensure that you are fit and healthy to partake in any form of exercise and that it is suitable for your needs. Before commencing any exercise regime you should consult your doctor.
Refund & Return Policy
Yoga Class Passes
Once you have purchased a 6 session or 12 session class pass there will be no refund. Class passes cannot be suspended or extended except in exceptional circumstances. Please email or write to us at email@example.com before the expiry of your class pass. Any decision to suspend or extend a class pass is at the manager’s discretion. All class passes are non-transferable.
For all private instruction we have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. If you are not present to meet the teacher at the arranged location at the agreed time you will be charged the full fee. If you cancel by email or phone, or change your appointment within 24 hours you will be required to pay the full fee.
Workplace Wellbeing Classes
For all Pilates and yoga classes booked by companies, or by any other types of organisations, or by any individual members of staff who have organised themselves to pay for sessions in offices or all other kinds workplaces, we have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. If there are no members of the class present to meet the teacher at the arranged location at the agreed time the full fee will be charged. If the session is cancelled by email or phone within 24 hours the full fee will be charged.
